Projected aluminium windows are also sometimes called casement windows or sash windows. They are differentiated from fixed windows or sliding windows by the fact that they have ‘leafs’ or ’sashes’ that swing out from the window’s outer frame. Casement windows can take one of two forms – top-hung or side-hung.

Sliding windows are the natural option if you are looking for a sleek finish or if your space does not allow for sashes projecting outwards. They are equally suited to homes and office buildings, bringing an aesthetic yet highly functional feature to the structure. Sliding windows can take one of two forms – horizontal sliding windows (where the sashes slide left and right), and vertical sliding windows (sashes slide up or down). If you are looking to enclose a large opening, create a sunroom, customise a shopfront, sliding window units can fit seamlessly with fixed-pane windows, sliding doors or folding doors

Remember that there are areas of your home that may not need an actual opening window. These areas may just be perfect for letting in light or exposing a stunning view. You can have fixed pane windows installed anywhere on the outer envelopes of your house where there is a view or natural surroundings. You can even have large fixed panes installed for indoor dividers between rooms. This way, you can make your home feel a lot more light, by using more glass.

Stacking windows, are also referred to as folding windows, or concertina windows. These modern innovative windows open up extremely wide spaces to let in more air and can reveal those majestic views. They are made up of multiple panels that fold upon one another when opened. Anywhere between 3 and 10 panels, can be used, depending on the entire width of the opening. The panels all stack away in a neat and compact fashion. These windows essentially use the same technology as stacking doors, made to the dimensions of a window.

Top Hung Aluminum Windows

Aluminium Top Hung Casement windows are the most common and popular of window designs. The aluminium top hung windows are constructed using an outer frame and a hinged “sash”. The sash projects outwards. In a top hung window the hinge is on the top of the outer frame, thereby allowing the bottom to swing out secured by high quality steel friction stays.

Side Hung Aluminium Windows

In this style the aluminium casement window is affixed to the side (left or right) of the outer frame allowing the window to open inwards or outwards. We use top quality profiles from our selected suppliers.

These windows are secured using high quality friction stays ensuring they remain fixed in position in all weather conditions.
Quality woolpile or bubble gasket ensures that the windows are weatherproof.

Aluminium Sliding Windows

Aluminium sliding windows are designed for spaces that do not want windows projecting from the wall. The window is designed to have one or two window sashes sliding horizontally within the frame.

We offer standard patio system OX sliding windows and also the 1000 series multislider system with all panels sliding.
Insect Screens can be added to both systems.
